Letter Link: what to know before playing

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Letter Link. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Look at what changes after your first action.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Give this approach a try

Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules. Make the next step deliberately.

The goal to keep in mind

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.

Making your moves

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Choosing and moving on screen

Tap letters and Submit word. Use the control method described here for this activity. Check any mode label before starting.

Learn from a sample situation

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Choose a deliberate next step.

A mistake to avoid

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
